Living Room Wall Art
General speaking, the living room’s the largest in the home – and therefore more likely to have an expanse of wall of a height and width that cries out for wall art on the grand scale. This is often the most ‘public’ area of your house (estate agents don’t called them Reception Rooms without reason!) – so this is your chance to have fun, find some art that touches or moves you and make a personal statement to share with family and visitors alike.
It could be one big statement piece or perhaps a set of two or three – both a focal point and a talking point… Or you could create a conversation-starting ‘gallery’ feel by hanging lots of small or medium-sized pictures with a theme, colour or artist in common.
